10-Year Driveway Guarantee
Home Base Pros guarantees the concrete flatwork installed at your property under contract against the following for ten (10) years from the date of completion:
- Heaving or settling of any panel more than 3/8" relative to an adjacent panel.
- Structural cracking. Any crack wider than 1/8" (the thickness of a credit card) that is not located at a control joint.
- Surface failure. Spalling, scaling, or flaking exceeding 2 square feet on any single panel.
If any of the above occurs, Home Base Pros will repair or replace the affected panel(s) at no charge for labor or materials. Home Base Pros decides repair vs. replacement. Replacement panels will match the original finish as closely as practical; exact color match is not guaranteed on cured concrete.
Not covered
- Hairline cracks under 1/8".
- Cracking at or along control joints.
- Damage from vehicles over 10,000 lbs GVWR.
- Damage from de-icers containing magnesium chloride, calcium chloride, or ammonium (sodium chloride or sand only, and no de-icer of any kind the first winter).
- Damage from tree roots, sub-surface utility work, adjacent excavation, or changes to drainage or grading made after completion.
- Fire, flood, earthquake, or impact.
Transferability
This guarantee transfers once to the next owner of the property at no cost. Notify Home Base Pros in writing within 60 days of the sale.
How to claim
Email photos and the contract number to info@homebasepros.com. We inspect within 14 days and complete covered repairs within 45 days, weather permitting.
This guarantee is the exclusive remedy for defects in the covered work and replaces all other warranties, express or implied. It does not cover consequential damages.
30-Day Schedule Lock
Once your deposit is received and the pour date is set, Home Base Pros will complete the project within 30 calendar days of that date. If we miss it for any reason within our control, we credit you $100 per calendar day late, up to $1,000, deducted from your final payment.
Weather below 40°F or precipitation on a scheduled pour day, permit or HOA delays outside our control, and owner-requested changes extend the date day-for-day and do not count.
Price Lock
The contract price is fixed. No change orders unless you add scope or we encounter buried concrete, utilities, or unsuitable soil not visible at inspection, in which case we stop, show you photos, and get written approval before any added cost.
